What is TEDxChipledhunga?
An independently organized TED event in Pokhara. Live speakers and performers share ideas on a single stage, alongside selected TED Talk videos.
Who can attend?
Anyone curious. Talks are in English and Nepali, and the program is suitable for ages 14 and up.
Will talks be recorded?
Yes. Talks are filmed and published on the TEDx YouTube channel a few weeks after the event, subject to TED's review.
Tickets
How do I buy a ticket?
Choose General or VIP on the Tickets page and check out on this site. Pay by eSewa, Khalti or bank transfer and enter your transaction ID. Once we've checked the payment you'll get an email with your digital ticket and QR code.
I paid but haven't received my ticket.
Payment verification can take up to 24 hours. If it's been longer, contact us with your payment receipt and we'll resend it.
Can I get a refund or transfer my ticket?
Tickets are non-refundable, but you can transfer yours to someone else up to three days before the event. Contact us with the new attendee's name and email.
Do I need to print my ticket?
No. Show the QR code on your phone at the entrance. Printed tickets work too.
Venue & travel
What time should I arrive?
Registration opens at 9:00 AM. Arrive by 9:45 AM; doors close when the opening session starts.
Is food provided?
Yes. Refreshments are included with every ticket, and VIP tickets include meals.

How can I nominate a speaker?
Send us the person's name, what they'd talk about and a link to their work through the Contact page, choosing 'Speaker Nomination'.
How can my organization become a partner?
Use the Contact page and choose 'Partnership'. We'll share our partnership deck with the available tiers.
